Plan B didn’t let the rain dampen his electric performance at Newmarket!

It may have been pouring, but it didn’t stop the crowd dancing in the rain during Plan B’s fantastic set at Newmarket on Friday night!

Having already performed at Market Rasen Racecourse back in June, as well as Haydock Park and Sandown Park Racecourses in July – we knew Newmarket were in for a treat on Friday night.

Plan B puts on an energetic show every single time and the Newmarket crowd were prepared to shelter from the rain until the BRIT Award Winner took the stage…

What a difference a few hours can make

The day started off sunny and dry at a peak of 33 degrees! The entertainment kicked off early with a fantastic six card race, with some great horse racing for the crowds to enjoy.

Although the heavens opened up later on, it didn’t stop the Newmarket guests from celebrating their wins! As well as taking advantage of everything the course has to offer. With plenty of food and drink stalls, seated areas and covering – everyone was staying dry waiting for Plan B to take to the Newmarket stage.

Nothing could dampen Plan B’s performance

The rain cleared up as Plan B came on to the stage. The musical maverick jumped straight into two of his upbeat tracks – Grateful and Heartbeat. Although it started to pour again, the crowd happily danced in the rain to a few fan favourites – The Recluse, Ill Manors and Stay Too Long.

Four incredible shows with Plan B this summer were topped off with an electric performance at Newmarket on Friday night! Thanks Ben Drew – come back anytime!
