The final music night of the summer at Sandown Park Racecourse did not disappoint – thanks to Nile Rodgers & CHIC!

Having already had Plan B and George Ezra grace the stage at Sandown Park this summer, the racecourse was full of CHIC fans eagerly awaiting another fantastic night of music in Surrey!

A little rain didn’t stop the fans enjoying the racing ahead of the headline show

A few showers never got in the way of a good time! Ahead of Nile Rodgers & CHIC’s performance, guests were enjoying the entertainment on the race track. With six exciting races, groups of families, friends and some fabulously dressed CHIC fans were cheering on the horses as they crossed the winning post!

Nile Rodgers & CHIC, you are welcome back anytime after that phenomenal performance!

Kicking things off with a few fan favourites, the incredible musicianship shone through as CHIC performed Everybody Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and I Want Your Love.

Most people don’t realise that Nile Rodgers produced so many iconic songs over the years. They went on to perform some of their biggest hits, including: I’m Coming Out, Like a Virgin and Get Lucky.

Ending the show in style, Nile Rodgers spoke about Studio 54 – saying, “it was the people that made it the best club in the world” as he invited up fans to dance on stage with him for the final song of the night – Good Times.

George Ezra | Friday 17th August at Newmarket Racecourses

The Vamps | Saturday 25th August at Newmarket Racecourses
