Summer 2023 officially kicked off at Aintree Racecourse last month when the original Sugababes line-up took to the stage live after racing. Friday night saw Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics debut in the Red Rum Garden to a sold-out crowd!
We can’t wait to welcome more incredible headliners to racecourses across the country this summer including Tom Grennan, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Bastille and many more.
The original line up of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhán kicked off The Jockey Club Live summer season with a night to remember. The band performed all their biggest hits from the noughties. The set list included ‘Freak Like Me’, ‘Round Round’, ‘Overload’ and ‘Hole in the Head’.
The Aintree crowd sang along to their hit-filled set list. The highlights included ‘Too Lost In You’, ‘Stronger’ and a cover of Sweet Female Attitude’s ‘Flowers’. The night ended with the band performing their upbeat single ‘About You Now’ to the screams of their fans.
A Jockey Club Live favourite, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics show delivers year on year with his Aintree Racecourse debut being no exception.
The legendary dance DJ was joined by conductor Jules Buckley and the 65-piece Essential Orchestra on stage in the Red Rum Garden on Friday night.
Following seven exciting horse races, Pete Tong, Jules Buckley and the impressive orchestra took the stage and began an epic Friday night set including huge hits: Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’, Robert Miles’ ‘Children’ and Eric Prydz’s ‘Pjanoo’.
Coupled with the incredible laser display, the sold-out crowd were transported to the White Isle in the late 90s. Thousands of fans danced night the away at the racecourse and you could still feel the buzz after the final track had played.
