With his second album due for release on 23rd March, we’re taking a look back at George Ezra’s success so far. From debuting with one of the best selling albums of the decade, will his second album live up to his track record and give him another Number 1?


One of the biggest selling albums of the decade – Wanted on Voyage

His first album – Wanted on Voyage – debuted at number 3 on the UK Albums Chart, before climbing to number 1 in October 2014. It’s spent four weeks at the top spot and was the third best-selling album of 2014!

Since its release the album has gone 4x platinum – selling well over 1 million copies in the UK alone! Also giving George four BRIT Award nominations and two Top 10 singles with Budapest and Blame It On Me.

Budapest has had almost 117million views on YouTube and over 370million listens on Spotify!


His next Number 1 album?

George Ezra's new album, Staying at Tamara'sSo far, George has released five singles from Staying at Tamara’s.

  • Paradise
  • Pretty Shining People
  • Hold My Girl
  • Saviour

All five are giving us a craving for summer, thanks to their upbeat melodies and catchy choruses.

Paradise has already made it into the Top 10 and had 5.5 million views on YouTube in two months!

Over the last couple of weeks, George released a series of Karaoke lyric videos for Pretty Shining People, Hold My Girl and Saviour (which features First Aid Kit!)
